Our weekends

Its been 5 months and 3 days since mum passed away. When the weekend arrives it makes me miss my mum so much. Obviously all the time but the weekend hit me hard, heres a few memories of mine and mums weekends. I would come home from work and rush to get ready, mum would be half way through drying her hair and doing her makeup :) she would have already text me on my way home home to pop to the garage and grab us a bottle of vodka, small one of course ( we werent alcoholics! haha) and a bottle of coke, id get in and shed shout down the stairs '' sashhh will ya make us a drink, lots of ice in mine please'' haha so we would drink before we went out, she would always smell so lovely! and wear such pretty outfits, galm dresses, glittery jackets and sparkly heels. she had shimmering lilac eyeshadow which complemented her brown eyes, and purple lipstick, sounds abit heavy but believe me she pulled that colour off so well. she was so funny after a few, we would be sat in the living room drinking all dolled up trying to call a taxi to take us to the pub. pretty much half cut by time it arrived, we would rush roundthe house making sure everything was locked and getting our last bits, bag, purse etc, i always tried downing my last bit of drink lol. we got in the taxi and we would chat away to the driver. arrived at the chase and that would be it, wed be in there, shed be dancing and sneaking up around corners to try persuade someone to buy her a vodka andcoke ( double) lol although shed already had enough for the night lol. she always had the best time out!! always said '' im not going to ICE'' awlays endd up in ICE lol her and her friend Jackie went there one time and she fell down the stairs, crazy them two :) such a funny pair! i miss going out with mum, even when she dragged me to kebab shop so she could order her chiken chips & garlic sauce, she loved that! i miss these nights with her, arriving home after getting the taxi man to take us through Mcdonalds drive through, then wed get into the house, shed grab her bottle of water, the house phone and crawl into bed and snore the night away :) id give anything to have on more weekend with mum! im sure heavens partys are much more fun though - one day il see her again xxxx
